President

Hi my name is Makamae! I first joined this club to maintain a connection with my Hawaiian roots and culture. I became a board member because I believe it is important to support other students who want to connect or reconnect with Hawaiian culture, values, and traditions.

A little bit about me, I am majoring in Liberal Arts and Hawaiian Studies. My passion for learning more about my heritage is a result of teaching and working in the community. The knowledge I gained through my ventures, reconnected me to my Native Hawaiian foundations. I am excited to continue this legacy and look forward to meeting everyone!
